- Buy french bread dough from your local supermarket.
- Brown hamburger with taco seasoning for the meat.
- Fill a skillet with 2 inches deep of vegetable oil and turn on medium heat
- Break off a section of the french bread dough and roll it flat
- Put a small piece of french bread dough in the pan to see when the temperature is right (you will notice it start to brown)
- Put the flat french bread dough piece in the frying pan. Let it brown on the bottom and then turn over. If you get big pockets of air, stick a knife in it to deflate. Sometimes it works better to press the dough down into the pan to make sure it gets maximum cooking oil.
- Get your toppings prepared - we typically use cheese, tomatoes, lettuces, and salsa.
- Put meat on navajo taco, then toppings.

Navajo Tacos
Most people are familiar with Navajo Tacos from eating them at a county fair or an amusement park. Navajo Tacos are very easy to make, here is how you make them.
